MassDiGI Summer Innovation Program Open House: August 6, 2015 – Worcester, MA

Please join us for the 2015 MassDiGI Summer Innovation Program Open House!

For the past 11 weeks, 24 students from 15 colleges and universities have worked on 4 amazing games. You are invited to come on down and play them! The Open House is free and open to all.

Games include:

Ophidia – an artistic action game – follow @ophidiagame

Crafting Life – an element crafting game – follow @craftinglife_

MegaloMalady – a brand new idle game – follow @megalomalady

Hibachi Hero – a fast-paced first person food shooter game – follow @hibachiherogame

Plus, a special bonus game or two!

This year’s SIP students come from Becker College, Berklee College of Music, Brandeis University, Champlain College, Hampshire College, IUPUI, MIT, Northeastern University, RPI, RISD, RIT, University of Southern California, University of Southern Maine, WPI – and Ireland’s Letterkenny Institute of Technology.

Drop by our booth (#4248) at PAX East 2015 and say hello! This year we will have game demos from Wooplex, Black Hat Oculus, Cat Tsunami, Midnight Terrors and more! And, as always, we will be offering drop-in mentoring and  running the Made in MA QR Quest!

You’re also welcome to join us at our panel: “Game Devs: The Next Generation, Part Two” on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00pm in the Bobcat Theatre. This panel features students from MIT, Becker College, WPI, RISD and Berklee College of Music talking about their experiences making games in our Summer Innovation Program.
