Merge Surge, a free, fun and exciting tower defense game, is available for download now on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The NIGHT Virus has struck Neo Robo City, glitching its inhabitants and threatening to close it down forever. Deck out a team of robots with powerful chips to fight off the viral drones!
The mobile game was created during the 2020 MassDiGI Summer Innovation Program (SIP) by Kazmuir Long from Temple, Brandon Coulombe from Becker, Henry Stadolnik form WPI, Vladimir Karashchuk from Becker, Whitney Kluttz from RIT, Olivia Bogs from WPI and Primrose Kirk from Berklee.
Working over the summer, the team produced a beta/near-release version of the game – watch the trailer here. From there, we brought the game into our Collab (FKA LiveStudio) program at Becker during the fall ’20 semester. Through Collab, more students across a range of disciplines, including business students in our marketing lab, had roles in polishing the game and getting it ready to launch.
